Just a couple years ago, I experienced an intensely difficult situation at work, that resonated so deeply with experiences in my childhood that I chose to use the event as a springboard: I decided to retire from a wonderful and fulfilling career as an elementary teacher, and to turn my focus towards myself and my truest feelings and beliefs.
In this process I returned to the HeartMath tools that had so deeply impressed me in previous years (during a period where I simply didn't have the focus and the time to employ HeartMath to its fullest). I began to guide myself by my internal heart compass. What a tremendous transformation that was for me!
After years of giving and giving as teacher, I found a better balance for myself and became calmer and more resilient. To be honest, I had become a perfectionist, and I was trying to please everyone. I found I had little time for myself and often felt stressed. Too often, I was withdrawn, short tempered, or exhausted.
Now, working with the HeartMath tools, I found new levels of maturity and self-confidence. Step by step, I learned how to manage my reactions, clear emotional blocks, and change old habits. Instead of feeling like I had a “kick me” sign on my back, I began to set boundaries and communicate more clearly with the people around me. As a result, I was able to begin opening up so people could see my authentic self. My heart compass guided me toward choices that worked for me. Thus, my passion for HeartMath work blossomed.
One of the most important choices I made was becoming a professional coach. I am still, at my core, a natural giver. I consider it a true privilege to be of service to others. Working with the full set of HeartMath tools, I am able help others navigate their own paths to personal growth and healing. HeartMath can work – I know because I’ve lived it. It would be an honor for me to work with you finding your own path to start living the life you really deserve.
